Hi there!! I came up with this idea to do a post every once in a while in between my regular weekly posts to showcase the current fashion trends but with a twist. Personally, I love looking at and getting my fashion inspirations from the mannequins at the stores. The reason why: they show you what is in fashion now, and not next season like most runway shows do. So I decided to do a section called: What’s on the Mannequin or Window Shopping (not sure which name I like better so suggestions are welcome), where I take pictures of the mannequins in the stores and windows. So here are the latest fall trends. Please keep in mind that I live in the tropical island of Puerto Rico so you won’t see a lot of heavy outerwear. Some of the latest trends this season include: feathers, (lots of) leopard print, over-sized sweaters, leather jackets, jean jackets, tights/leggings, flower prints, scarves, and neutral colors. Hope you enjoy the photos. ♥

It was very hard for me to resist the temptation and I just had to buy something. There was a leather jacket in Guess that I fell in love with but was $80, which is a bit much for my current budget, so I went to Charlotte Russe and bought a very similar one for only $40 (and I just had to buy the matching shoes for $20). A lot of times when one store has an item that belongs to this season’s trends, other stores will do the same and you can take advantage of cheaper prices. 😉

So do I! Mannequins are always so perfect right? They should make them more realistic to the human figure so they can show what the clothes would really look like on us. 😉
